Privacy Policy

This is the personal portfolio of Qalab Hassnain Agha, based in Islamabad, Pakistan. This policy explains what data this site collects, why, and what your choices are. Short version: the site collects only what you send through the contact form plus standard, anonymous-ish analytics — nothing is ever sold.

1. What is collected

• Contact form. If you write to me, the form collects your name, email address, project type, budget range, message, and the page you sent it from. It is delivered to my inbox by Resend and used solely to respond to you.
• Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics (via Firebase) and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. These use cookies or similar identifiers. No advertising or retargeting pixels are used.
• Scheduling. If you book a call, scheduling runs through Calendly, whose own privacy policy applies to the details you enter there.
• Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and operations.

2. How it is used

To respond to your inquiries, to understand which content is useful so I can improve the site, and to keep the site secure. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.

3. Cookies

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after you accept the consent banner — declining keeps the site fully functional with no tracking. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use an extension or your browser's tracking protection — the site works fully without them.

4. Third-party processors

Vercel (hosting), Google (analytics), Resend (contact-form email delivery), and Calendly (scheduling). Each processes data under its own privacy policy, linked above. Data may be processed on servers outside your country (typically the US or EU).

5. Retention

Contact-form messages are kept in my inbox for as long as needed for our correspondence. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

6. Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — email support@qalabagha.com and I'll action it promptly. If you are in the EU/UK or California, these requests are honored in the spirit of the GDPR and CCPA respectively.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

Updates to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
