Overview
A cash-on-delivery honey brand needed Shopify without Shopify's economics or its ceiling. I built the whole stack: a long-form editorial storefront tuned for Meta ad traffic, and a 60-route admin portal behind it covering orders, fulfilment, inventory, customers, discounts, analytics, returns, automations and webhooks. Every word on the public site is editable from the admin, including the sales letter, which is stored as a reorderable list of blocks. The order drawer writes straight into the admin database, so the shop owns its commerce data outright. Runs on a single SQLite file with zero external services, so a store that would cost a monthly platform fee plus transaction cuts runs on one small VPS.
Highlights
- 60 routes, zero runtime dependencies beyond React
- Full storefront CMS: copy, sections, order & visibility
- COD-native: fulfilment, cash collection, returns, ad attribution
