Representing Pakistan at the APICTA Awards 2025 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

After Scentix won at the HBL P@SHA ICT Awards 2025, it went to Kaohsiung as a nominee in Pakistan’s delegation to the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards. I went as Co-Founder & CTO, with the real devices on the table.

What APICTA is

APICTA, the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards, is where the national ICT award winners of the Asia Pacific region compete against each other. In Pakistan the route runs through P@SHA: winners and runners-up at the P@SHA ICT Awards can go on to represent the country.

The 2025 edition was hosted in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, under the theme "Anchoring Kaohsiung, Sailing to the World", with a TechBridge Expo and Matchmaking Day where nominees from across the region showed their products side by side.

From Islamabad to Kaohsiung

A few months earlier I had gone on stage in Pakistan to receive the HBL P@SHA ICT Award 2025 for Scentix, on behalf of Quickgen Technologies. That award made Scentix one of Pakistan’s nominees at APICTA 2025.

Our booth, PK07, carried the line we build by: intelligent systems that put reliability first, from smart wearables to AI-powered infrastructure. Scentix was our nominated entry, and it sat on the table as a real, working device, not a mockup, alongside QuickComm and three more of our products. P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed stopped by the booth during the expo.

What I brought home

Pakistan’s delegation came home with 7 awards. Standing next to the best products in the region is the fastest way to see where your own stands, and what it takes to build for markets beyond your own.

Nine months later, QuickComm AI, the voice AI system I architected and coded, won 5 awards at the P@SHA ICT Awards 2026.
